My story is unique in that it is a dolphin story. When I toured SSMT in 2021 as a prospective student, I had no real direction in my life and I was unsure whether this was the path for me, but a little voice inside of me said, “You can do it!”
I did do it, and my path continues to unfold in the most amazing ways, taking me places I never could have imagined in 2021. Towards the end of your program at SSMT, you will be introduced to a number of modalities which are available to you as a Licensed Massage Therapist. One of these modalities is Craniosacral Therapy.
My time at SSMT cracked the door open to the most incredible healing journey, allowing a tiny sliver of light to come in… But Craniosacral Therapy blew the door right off its hinges. In two years, I went from having no direction in my life to practicing Dolphin-Assisted Bioaquatic Craniosacral Therapy in the Bahamas. Working with dolphins is not new to me, and I am in the process of writing a book about all that I have learned upon this amazing journey.
