The Healing Touch Program is an international, multi-level educational program in energy based medicine therapy. The Healing Touch Program™ curriculum progresses from beginning to advanced practice. As a professionally accredited program, the curriculum encompasses increasing levels of practice and techniques, code of ethics and scope of practice. Healing Touch is endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Association and the Canadian Holistic Nurses Association (CHNA). Practitioners and Instructors are certified through an independent certification process. Contact hours for massage Therapists are granted through the National Board of Massage Therapy. Healing Certified Touch Practitioners are recognized internationally as having achieved a professional level of energetic therapy competence.
Each level in the Healing Touch Program™ includes both didactic and experiential learning in which participants practice and share experiences using energy-based healing techniques. In addition the program encourages the developing practitioner to enhance skills and knowledge through recommended readings and practice sessions. There is also a strong commitment to personal growth and knowledge of holistic health principles.
At the completion of each official level from the Healing Touch Program™ that is taught by a Healing Certified Touch Instructor, a certificate of attendance is given.
The Healing Touch Program is open to all individuals desiring an in-depth understanding of healing work using energy-based principals. Our classes have included nurses, physicians, body therapists, counselors, psychotherapists, other healthcare professionals, clergy and spiritual leaders, hospice personnel and other individuals interested in helping others in their community, loved ones and themselves. Nurses and massage therapists who take Healing Touch classes can earn Continuing Education contact hours.
Objectives
1. Describe energy fields and energy centers as two aspects of the human energy system that are related to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.
2. Discuss the major concepts and principles that guide the practice of Healing Touch.
3 Identify and administer the seven steps of the Basic Healing Touch Sequence.
4. Demonstrate specific energetic interventions used in Healing Touch.
5. Describe when to apply various Healing Touch Interventions.
6. Discuss basic principles of ethics when using Healing Touch with another person.
Class is from 8:30am to 6:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
Regular tuition is $365. Tuition for SSMT grads and Healing Touch for Animals Practitioners is $340. Full-time student tuition is $255.
