Most people associate reflexology with pressure points found in the foot. However, hand reflexology has been part of medical care as far back as ancient Egyptian times. Research has shown working with reflexes on the hand can be as effective as working those on the feet, with the added benefit of being more easily accessible. In addition, due to the increase in new stresses technology has placed on our hands (keyboarding, texting, video games, smart phones, etc.), the popularity of hand reflexology is growing.
Learn how to give an effective hand reflexology treatment for both yourself and your clients to help relax, restore, energize, and balance the entire body. Included will be simple, effective stretches to help offset the effects the stress of massage can have on our hands, thumbs, and wrists.
Bring a bath towel, pillow, and non-greasy lotion.
Pre-requisite: Basic Reflexology Training
Class is held from 9:00am - 6:00pm, NCBTMB approved provider.
