This weekend seminar explores the impact of trauma on the body and the signs and symptoms of traumatic stress and post-traumatic stress that you may recognize in your clients. 

Course work is experiential, and participants will be involved in the process of self-exploration. Knowing oneself and one's reactions to another's suffering is critical to be able to effectively assist your clients in recovery from life's traumatic events.

Joni, a 1990 SSMT graduate, also graduated in 2009 with an MA degree in body psychotherapy from Naropa University, a Buddhist-inspired college in Boulder, CO. After intensive study in Thailand, she now specializes in trauma recovery and Thai massage.
