This 4 hour course is an overview of special needs for people with chronic illnesses such as Parkinson's, MS, Dementia, AIDS, and Cancer. Students will be taught how to give full contact bodywork through clothing using light comfort measures, which will include Reiki, Healing touch, Cranio-Sacral therapy, gentle Thai massage, comfort care and additional techniques. This class is dual-taught by both Dell and Joni Masse.
This introduction course is designed to prepare students for the longer, 12 hour course, Massage Techniques for Special Populations.
Class is held from 6:00pm - 10:00pm.
