Thai 2: Side-Lying and Prone

October 02 - 03, 2021

$325.00

Thai Massage is an ancient and sacred system of bodywork that is one of the five main branches of traditional Thai medicine. It combines rhythmic massage, acupressure, passive stretching, energy work, and meditation to balance the flow of healing energy within the body and create powerful release of stress and tension . The ultimate goal of a Thai massage session is to release blocked areas in the body and encourage ease of movement throughout all the body's systems.

This part two of the Thai certification program. We will review what was covered in level 1 and add side-lying and prone positions.

Thai massage is  fun to learn and practice, and will provide therapists with a whole new way of working with the clients!

Thai 1: Introduction to Thai Massage, Supine and Seated Positions

Thai 2: Side-Lying and Prone Positions, Final Review and Integration

It is required that the two weekend seminars, Thai 1 and Thai 2, be taken in order to receive certification. They may, however, be taken individually without certification.

There is also a required hands on session, one-on-one, to be scheduled with the instructor outside of class time, to evaluate the  skill level of the participant. This is final requirement for certification and no certification will be issued without this session.

Mats and cushions will be provided at the seminars.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can move in.

Classes run from 9:00am-6:00pm each day - NCBTMB approved course.

Cost is $325 per weekend, total $650 for the entire certification, which includes the 60 minute one-on-one individual session with the instructor, to be scheduled upon completion of both weekends.
