Sarasota School of Massage Therapy offers many continuing education courses for Licensed Massage Therapists.
In Florida, 24 hours of continuing education are needed to renew a professional massage therapy license every two years. At least 12 of these hours must be live in a classroom and directly relate to the practice of massage. The next renewal is August 31, 2023 for all Florida LMTs.
SSMT offers a wide range of classes for therapists looking to enhance their level of expertise.
SSMT is committed to operating as safely as possibly during this time. Class size will be limited to allow for distancing between all participants except those practicing on each other.
By enrolling in a seminar at this time, you acknowledge that the safety measures in place my impact student experience. This includes minor background noise from HEPA filtration units, as well as challenges with communication posed by face masks and shields.
SSMT is committed to providing the best experience without compromising safety. We've had several very well received seminars since we reopened for live classes last fall. We hope to see you in a class!
Masks are optional for all students, instructors, administration, staff, and all visitors to SSMT. An ASTM Level 3 face mask will be provided to those who choose to wear them.
