Joni graduated from Naropa University in Boulder CO in 2009 with a master’s degree in body psychotherapy and specializes in Trauma Recovery. She brings more than 20 years of experience as a bodyworker, teacher, and registered nurse to her seminars and her private practice. Her passion is working with Veterans and others who have suffered from traumatic events in their lives. This weekend seminar explores the impact of trauma on the body, the signs and symptoms of traumatic stress and post traumatic stress that you may recognize in your clients. 16 hands on CEU's provided. Course work is experiential and participants will be involved in process of self exploration. Knowing one self and one's reactions to another's suffering is critical to be able to effectively assist your clients in recovery from life' traumatic events.
